I too just recieved a call at my work. Don't know how they got the number. All i understood his last was Watson. Then he transfered me to his so called supervisor. They both spoke with an Indian accent.
Why can't these people be stopped. This is not the first time I have recieved this call. Other ones used same words but gave different names.
You don't know how much I would love to see these people in court. Disrupting calls at work, stress wondering what you did wrong and how to fix it and generally just the pure anger you feel knowing that you did nothing wrong but allowing them to get you angry enough to get under you're skin and make you feel belittled.
The information you posted is a Huge Help!! I wish I had researched the phone number a bit more before returning their call, but being a bit more wiser than some of the younger generation I knew that if I forced their hand to provide the proof that I owed what they said I did and not give them any personal information other than my email address (when I asked them to email me the proof) and by telling them to go ahead and take me to court that somehow they would "possibly" give up. I honestly don't know if they have or not but the fact that they put me on "hold" for about 30 seconds before disconnecting the call makes me think that they just may not call again.
I hope everyone who receives calls like this does the research and reads your information before they return any calls.
calling from at least 3 different phone numbers and using a variety of "american" sounding names, these foreigners have been HARRASSING me and my family for MONTHS !!
when it first started, i told them to "put it in writing" and hung up. they left dozens more messages and i called them from my job in local government, told them i was with the Township Attorney and Chief of Police and they hung up on me and stopped calling for a few weeks. now they've started up again and they are driving me NUTS !!
my son STARTED tp apply for a PayDay laon a few months ago, but he did NOT complete the application or get any money
@ Saint reading your message was very informative, I called the number you sugessted and reported them. I hope they catch them and press charges against them for fraud and harrassment. I cant stand them.
thanks for the information! i thought these calls were a bit suspect because i was getting them everyday for a long time! i returned their call the first time i received something from them, then proceeded to tell me i needed to have my attorney of record to contact them immediately and that if i didn't they wish me well and it was in God's hands or something to that effect! so i reported this to the new jersey police online service and didn't hear from them for a long while. now that i put my original voicemail message, the calls have started up once again and now i'm getting calls from "samantha" from so and so division! gee, i know who i owe money to and have been in contact with the collections agencies, but these scammers are off the hook! but i find it a bit humorous now because i've come to realize people will do anything and everyting under the sun to get a hold of monies not even due to them! though i felt unsure the first time. i also asked them to take me to court and provide the documents i signed and they couldn't provide it so i knew then, it was all BS from that point forward! thanks for your email! it is a great tool to offer for those not knowing such as i was!
