Same thing . This needs to stop. It is sad that these people continue to try and catch some one who is minding their own business. Report all these calls to the do not call list .
Credit Card phishing scam (lower your credit card rate)
Called my cell phone. A foreign girl answered when I hit 1 for a lower rate. She had hung up by the time I finished my short obscenity-laced tirade.
Same thing just happened to me -- called my cell and an foreign man answered when I hit 1 to ask them how they got my number and to have it removed -- he hung up.
This makes me wish for the good old bad old days when a program called AOHell was popular. It would generate phoney VISA and Master Card numbers that would allow a phoney account to be set up for two or three days on AOL. Would be so much fun to have that now and give these jerks phoney numbers to play with and maybe get caught.
