Called my work number; I have no mortgage - I rent. Possibly calling for someone else, but left a blank voice mail (hung up too late apparently). Who knows... At least I know what the complany is though - thanks for that, all!
SCAM! They called with my name and mortgage number, and told me I was delinquent with my payment. They could process the payment over the phone. I hung up and called my mortgage company. They were unaware of this number and I was definitely not delinquent with my payment.
I have received a number of calls from this number but never leaves a message. I don't answer numbers that I am not familiar with. I recommend that if the mortgage company wants to talk to me they should leave a message. LOL
This is actually a real mortgage company. I'm in the process of closing on my house and this is the number that my loan processor calls from. Must be one of their outgoing lines. It's legit; I'd have to agree with Mike above. It's either your mortgage company looking for a missed payment, or it's a re-issued phone number.
