Yes, it was clear from the many people who reported, but your long post only appears as if your making excuses for them as a shill, so I commented accordingly. A simple statement of being an employee and wanted to 'come clean' about it being a scam would have been much more effective at getting the message across. As for getting called again, thats why they made call blockers. :)
Scam. A man soliciting for donation packet to send for Police / Police families in need of financial support. Civil support has Unions and organizations to financially assist community civil servants and/or their families. There's also fiscal support in/from their civil job insurance bundles they may opt to purchase coverage for times of life issues/crises. Blocked number.
Called my cell Sunday eve but missed call. Left no message. Will block based on these comments. Who are the losers anyway and why can't the DN call list get them under control? One would think that a if the phone cos know that everybody blocks them they have the info needed to slow them down or stop them.
First, because the DNC list is simply that - a list. Only legitimate telemarketers abide by it. Second, how would the phone company know what numbers are being blocked?
Third, even if the phone company did know, scammers frequently spoof phone numbers so they phone company would be "stopping" innocent people.
