Who called from 8602158001

Scammers can send any caller ID number.... not necessarily actual number. I just got 26456789. I have gotten 0000000000 and my own number on caller ID. It is illegal but phone company still makes money and will not investigate or stop, much like our wothless government.

This random number (Norwich, CT) showed up on my phone so I googled it and found this website. Sounds to me like it's a scam number so it will be getting blocked!

It's a scam.  Don't answer and block it on your phone.  Still don't understand how they're getting a private cell phone number.  What ever happened to the Do Not Call list I'm supposedly on???

The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said.    They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.
