Received a call saying something about a vehicle warranty or something. Heavy accent. Called a few times, happened to answer once because it looked like a local number. I am blocking the number now.

I recieved a call with caller ID 1-860-271-7147 CT LEGAL SERVCS. The woman had a heavy accent. She asked for me by my nickname and not by the name on my car, but then asked me to confirm the mileage on my car. I asked why and they handle warranty. I replied my dealership handles all the warranty issues and asked if she was trying to sell me something. No, she was offering me mechanical and electrical... I cut her off and said it sounded like she was telemarketing me and that I was on a Do Not Call List and she was breaking the law and please remove my name from her list.
They called my phone from noting they were from the "Vehicle Processing Department". When I asked him if that was the name of the company he said it was. He then started asking questions about my car (mileage, etc). I informed him that without being able to confirm they were from my vehicle's manufacturer, I can't give them any information. They hung up after I told them this.
