This number started calling when I gave it to bankrate.com to get an auto insurance rate. I was called on average 8 times an hour the first day by various automated messages. This number, I believe was from a Hartford GEICO automated calling system.
I went online yesterday to compare insurance rates across carriers. Since then, I received bothersome calls FOURTEEN TIMES in 12 hours!!! Sometimes it plays weird music or sometimes it simply hangs up on me when I say "hello"... NEVER did it identify itself nor leave a voice mail when I did not pick up. I finally called the number and the Sales Associate identified the company as "GoJi", offering insurance quotes. (Prior to a human picking up as I went through the automated options, the auto attendant offered if I wanted to place my number on their "Do Not Call" list, which I did... hopefully they will honor that!) I recommend no one do business with this sleazy company!
