Just called from Conn. Geek support. I know these Conn numbers are about viruses. I decided to have a laugh and play with him. I teach computers and smart devices etc. Told him I was 80 and didn't know computers.
I was told I had virus I could not find CTRL and Windows key so he told me to type in an address in Google I told him I did it said I was not connected to internet. I asked how come he found a virus if I am not connected. Couldn't explain that one.
He told me to call him back at this number 855-481-5399 and he said he was from Geek support. I said Greek Support he said no Geek support and even spelled it out for me. I again said Greek support and asked him if he was in Athens. By then I was laughing so hard I couldn't play with him anymore.
Says my computer has a virus he was from geek support. Told me virus was csrexe to go to computer and hit buttons. I hung up on him. This is the 4th or more time they have called my number. Told him I was going to report him to the FCC.
I couldn't understand what he said his name was, since he spoke very poor English, but he said he was calling from Microsoft about my computer virus. I told him I thought he was scamming me and he said "You're thinking wrong" and hung up.
Keep getting calls from 860-474-8560. I never answer.
I know this is a scam.
I keep getting another call from a company claiming I was selected to receive a free $1500 security system. Yea right.
Get a real job people.
