Left a message saying something about the irs and a payment plan. I dont owe the irs so im thinking it must be a scam. I use to get scam calls all the time saying I owe money. So i cant help but assume thats what this is.
Yep, it's a scam. If you owe money to the IRS, they will send you a letter. In fact, they'll send you 3 letters before they send you a deficiency letter. After that, they will file a levy and liens.
