Do NOT pick up the phone! You're revealing that they've reached a working # and their attempts to reach you will not stop. Invest in a call blocker unless you enjoy the relentless harassment.
This is a charity scam caller.
I didn't know this number from Thomaston, CT and live in CT so called it back and I got a recorded message like someone's personal voicemail from a cell phone or landline. It simply stated something about the Connecticut American Veterans and if I leave a message that they would call me back. I didn't leave a message.
Unfortunately, people are not going to donate money to the CT Vets when the people who are asking for donations do not have a phone number on the caller ID that reflects the reason for the call. Sorry, but I won't answer some random caller, from a random number from a random town in the state of CT.
If the caller id said American Vets...I could make my choice to answer and give money or just say no and to put me on the no call list.
Relentless "charity" scam! They call EVERY DAY, even weekends and holidays. I didn't want to have to shell out the money for a call-blocker, but my quality of life is more important. These harassing scammers are the scum of the earth!
