Sorry, but you are wrong about that. I have NEVER made any inquiries for any of these types of products or services from them or any other company yet I just got a call from them as well so that theory goes out the window. They are just trying to drum up business dialing any number they get their hands on. I am also on the Do Not Call List and they have now violated it by calling me. If they truly were a legitimate and reliable company, they would respect the DNC list. Even if I was interested in their services, based upon their disrespect now, I would NEVER use them.
Caller ID said "Safe Step Tubs". I don't remember 'signing up for a drawing for free bathroom or basement makeover' at the Big E, and even if I had it would have been ONE YEAR AGO! WHY are they calling NOW? If I'd 'won' I'm sure it would have been a long time ago.
I do enter sweeps, but I use ANOTHER phone number to do so AND I clearly state "NO TELEMARKETING" which SUPERCEDES any 'rules' they try and impose on us by signing up for the sweeps.
So, this is a CLEAR violation of the DNC List and I am GOING TO REPORT THEM!
I wish this number would stop calling me. As I read some of the posts.. I havent been to the Big E in at least 2 years. How do I make them stop calling me? I actually picked up once and they hung up on me! So frustrating~!!
