I missed two calls from this company on my cell phone. They did not leave a message, so I called back after the second missed call. The person I spoke with identified the company as "Trident Financial" and said I had three loans to pay back. When I asked her to mail me a letter explaining the debt and the companies where the loans were from so that I could look into my records, she refused, saying "that is not our job, we just make payment arrangements" and suggested that I wait "to get served" by the original debtors. I have no idea what she was talking about and did not set up payments.

I reported the company and the number they called me from using the FTC online complaint system.
its not a scam, trident is affiliated also with lexisnexis....they are relentless. next, they will come to your door with a sheriff, and the lone ranger...tanto shows up a little later and throws rocks at the side of your house.
