Caller ID said "Obama Home Help." I thought it was a joke and that one of my good conservative friends had somehow changed his caller ID. Nope, not a friend. It's some telemarketing company wanting me to refinance my mortgage. But I rent a home; I don't currently have a mortgage.

I emailed the White House Director of Communications and said I was being harassed by spam calls from "Obama Home Help" calling from 860-899-2707 and that I suspected someone was making calls and impersonating presidential authority by using the "Obama" name and would he please refer this complaint to the FCC and the DOJ for investigation. Within 24 hours the calls stopped and it has been over 10 days now. I am, and was, on the "Do Not Call" list. I'm now receiving emails from the White House asking me to participate in various citizen "opinion polls". <See White House website>!
