Caller ID said "Obama Home Help." I thought it was a joke and that one of my good conservative friends had somehow changed his caller ID. Nope, not a friend. It's some telemarketing company wanting me to refinance my mortgage. But I rent a home; I don't currently have a mortgage.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset. COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.
They work beautifully! These phones also block
“PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
