TO all of you who search for these numbers (LIKE ME) IF YOU WANT TO STOP THIS FOLLOW THIS LIST THAT TAKES LESS THAN A MINUTE OR SO
AS THEIR IS A WAY TO STOP IT (but you must do these, takes 2 seconds and three or so clicks) BUT YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT AND MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THROUGH AS DOING AN HALF WAY APPROACH DOES NOT WORK--- IT ONLY takes a few minutes:
1) Block them on your phone but first ASK WHO THEY ARE AND THE COMPANY (BUT DO write the full phone number, date, and time called you down IN A LOG (as this is IMPORTANT For legal reasons). This will stop it from ringing on YOUR PHONE but does not stop them from calling, or dialing your number.
EXPAINATION FOR YOUR INFO--many of these places operate "call centers" with 5, 10, 20, or 100 people working what are CALLED AUTO-DIALERS (auto-dialers are computers that dial numbers incessantly, and when someone answers they "throw it" (send the call to a person) -- hence the delay you often experience -- a new spin on this as most people hang up on a dead line, is they now have recordings THAT SOUNDS like someone talking to you while this is happening.....and even if you have their number it could be caller ID spoofed....but anyway:
2) File a Complaint WITH THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY -- this is important as the more complaints the quicker they investigate....
and file a complaint for repeated ongoing harassment with the FTC/ DEPT. COMMERCE (they could loose their License if licensed business/agency),

3) Post HERE and ELSEWHERE THE NUMBER CALLING YOU
BUT DO NOT LIST YOUR NUMBER (Many Websites are SCAMS and some even listed for complaints of harassing phone calls are actually HARVESTING NUMBERS TO CALL, so you CANNOT TRUST all Websites
, make sure you check any other websites or webpages are official GOVERNMENT Website.
NEVER, NEVER, EVER, leave any Identifying INformation (name, phone ect....)
as you can get an alias email address through your internet company or Gmail or Yahoo (just search in the email help section for an ALIAS EMAIL ADDRESS (so it is not your email and you end up making things worse for you). Hide My [***] has several free options as well (as you MUST verify your a person who owns the email to make complaints to the Gov. Sites noted above).
THESE ARE for the purpose of verifying it is not someone listing another's email address, to sign people up without their knowledge or permission). IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS ALL YOUR TIME IS WASTED AS THEY JUST DELETE YOUR COMPLAINT -- so setting up a ALIAS EMAIL ADDRESS is important and you can then use it for all other complaints as it is a seperate email from your regular one...)
