This is how I handle these type of calls. First wait until you get a live person on the line. If you determine that it is a scam tell them you are having a hard time hearing them and could they turn their volume up. Then tell them that they are slime or what ever other choice of words you feel they deserve (*%#^#%+^*) Then let them know you have a evil hacker contact who loves to deal with scams like theirs and they will be noticing his work soon. Next blow a rape whistle as hard as you can into the phone. The other strategy I use is to set my fax machine to fax a blank piece of paper to them. You can have your machine do this over and over again. You can also do this with your computer. They get to enjoy that shrill whistle over and over again. Sometime I just go to the rape whistle. These people deserve this and much more. If our phone companies and our government had any guts they could put a stop to this. Consumer Reports is working on the problem.
The caller called and told me my name and correct address. She also told me something about winning $7,000 dollars for not having a criminal background. I'm not stupid so I made up a fake address and gave them a fake name. I then told the [***] not to call my phone anymore because I would report her and she started to yell. So I cussed her [***] out and hung up. Blocking the number moments later (she had a heavy Indian accent)
