Number Called Me and said they would lower my credit card interest rates. I dont have any interest rates on my credit cards but I wanted to know why they were calling me since I am on the do not call list. He called me a [***] idiot and said I passed the idiot test because I pressed one. I hope his call was recorded and I hope that he gets fired. Cant call the number back.
The guy had an Asian accent.Said he was from Microsoft and I had a virus they needed to take care of.2 days ago the same caller called from a 310 number.
I was hoping to cuss them out but all I heard was a prerecorded good bye.
Joe is right, these are professional scammers, one week it's the microsoft scam the next they have a credit deal for you. They don't care if you answer or not a computer is doing the dialing. They can change numbers more often than you have open spots in your call blocker. Block the area code if you don't know anyone in that area.
