Man with an accent called (India)- "This is customer support and we're showing your running windows and there is an issue with your firewall, is that correct?" I asked Customer Support from where, he said, Microsoft. I told him he was full of s*** and don't ever call my number again. He quickly hung up! I added his number to my auto reject list.
called and I never answer unknown numbers, did not call back, then I proceeded to look up the number and found lots of messages about it being a scammer call.
Just got called from this number and I have read through these compaints the caller seems to change the reason for calling from IRS to a bank and to a tech affiiated with a pc manufacturer. I've learned to just p/u the receiver then place it back down with calls we're not famiair with here and it has helped.

"This call is from internal revenue services. This message is injected to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the US treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. This is a final attempt to reach you to resolve this issue immediately. And to speak to a Federal agent call on the number 202-800-5644. I repeat 202-800-5644. Thank you."
