Jeannie left a message, asking for verification of current employment. She gave no indication where she was calling from. But, like so many others, I recently started getting harassed by Pioneer Credit over student loans. The bill was hilarious "$175k, please do not send cash"
No way I'd give my employment info to some anonymous caller.
I'm guessing it is a relative of Pioneer Credit because those [***] have been stalking me everyday regarding my student loans. Apparently, nobody's told these [***] we're in the midst of a recession.
Somebody called, she asked if I was there, I said yes and asked what it was regarding and she said she couldn't tell me and then asked if I was me.
Also suspect they are an offshoot of Pioneer. Actually left a message though, with a reference number. Business name was mumbled, but the din of the pit of other callers was pretty deafening.
Yup, the day after I thought the 'ole stimulus check was going to arrive, a letter instead said, "we're giving it to the dept of edu." The NEXT day, I started recieving 6 phone calls a day and it was definitely student loan related. There is no way in he** I can pay right now. They got 300 bucks off me...
called me at 1am in the morning and did not leave a message. now I see who this is and I will put the name under notgonnaanswer must be nice to be a credit collector and yell at people all day so you can leave your 6 dollar an hour job and go home to yell at your kids and kick your dog and not pay your bills. shove my student loan in your a$$
