Jeannie left a message, asking for verification of current employment. She gave no indication where she was calling from. But, like so many others, I recently started getting harassed by Pioneer Credit over student loans. The bill was hilarious "$175k, please do not send cash"
No way I'd give my employment info to some anonymous caller.
Slow down and take a deep breath. Relax. The reason they won't share any information with you is you have not identified yourself and they cannot divulge your sensitive information with anyone but you unless you give them permission. Keep in mind every call is recorded so don't blow it.
These "fine folks" [sarcasm] are part of the lifetime harrassment guarantee when the Gov starts getting involved in quaranteeing loans without guaranteeing that the FOR PROFIT schools deliver more than lip service.

The caller 'Jan' (male) from NY would not give any info about WHO he represented or what the call was about. I was not the person he was looking for anyway.
Pain the [***] student loan collection agency PRC!!! Will keep call until you fill out paper work showing you can't afford to payback your loans Then you have 6 month of no phone Then it starts over until you do the paper work again.
