Left a vm for me stating the same thing as everyone else has stated... Called back and got "Jill Deyton's" voice mail... Didn't leave a message for her... Everything points to a scam IMHO.
This is obviously a scam. They called my residential number which is unlisted.
The government does not deal with sole proprietor consultants like myself. They deal with large consulting firms.
We have received 5 calls from GSA Applications in the last few weeks. Each time it is a new solicitor wanting to help our company obtain a 5-year GSA account. Each time I tell them the same thing, "We already have a GSA account". They then look up our business name and apologize for calling.
Now they are calling again telling us to hire them to "maximize our GSA profits". Was told that if we are doing less than $2M/year with GSA they can help us.
Had a message on my voice mail: This is Nicole Pets with GSA Applications. I can be reached at 864-349-5114 and my extension is 3014. If you are in fact the owner or president of the company and you're interested in obtaining a 5-year GSA contract with the federal government then just please return my call as soon as possible. So again that's Nicole at 864-349-5114 at extension 3014. Thank you.
As usual, I wanted to do my homework to find out what the call was about. Ended up here. Don't think I'll be calling them back anytime soon. Thanks for the heads up people!
