Left a vm for me stating the same thing as everyone else has stated... Called back and got "Jill Deyton's" voice mail... Didn't leave a message for her... Everything points to a scam IMHO.
Guess I should have checked the number prior to calling back...had to leave a voice mail...lucky me...may have a little fun when and if Erin Henderson of 864-349-5115 ext. 3009 calls back. Thanks for the insight folks...
I presume I got this call because I've registered my business in the Central Contractor Registry (www.bpn.gov/ccr), so I'm not irritated. While the call was not particularly welcome, it's simply a reflection of the nature of business today, especially if one is considering doing any kind of business with the government. If you've registered a business for a state or local business license, it's also possible they got your number through D&B, too.
GSA Application Services is by far not a scam. Do your homework. So far to date this year they have succeeded in getting 35 companies awarded their GSA. Do the math... 35 x 12 = 420. You can't fake a government contract. Instead of speculating about what you don't know, why don't you let them help you and then come back and let everyone know how well it worked for you!
I heard this same message about gov contracts and googled gsa application service and found this interesting little tidbit of information ... im not calling back !!!
