I just recieved this call on my cellphone I as far as I am concerned it is agaigst the credit law so they may want to watch out.. If anyone else wants let shut them down and sue for a class action of harassment? Let do it!
Received 4 calls in a row this morning from them, asking for my husband's and my SS#? Then asked if they could speak to "___" , our 12 y/o son? We don't have any outstanding debts in collections, nor any outstanding bills 30 days overdue? We have NO idea how we got on this "Department of CRA" list? We spoke with our cell carrier and the best option we have is to block their number for now. Beware!!
They told me they were going to report me to the IRS. I asked for details she would not give any, even after repeated questions. I said"I need the details for my Attorney "she said "it is not a lawsuit". I said "You threatened me with the IRS, it is a lawsuit ". She hung up.
I received a call from this number and the ignorant female expected me to verify my SS# without knowing the reason for her calling. Then she had the nerve to tell me good luck sweetheart and hung up on me. I called back and the so called floor manager was just as ignorant. All I wanted to know was as any other company does is to clarify who they were and why they were calling but no this female had to get down right rude and show her true lack of professionalism as well as the floor supervisor.
Little paranoid there Frustrated. This is just a "bulk buy" annoying collection company like NCO or Portfolio or one of those guys. I don't think they are putting you on hold to "Steal your identitiy"...
