Kept getting calls all day from this #. Didn't answer but they kept calling and waking me up so i finally picked up & said IRS is after me. I said oh ya really thats hysterical call me 1 more damn time and im calling the cops on harassment. These people need a life!
I received a voicemail message from a man with a middle eastern accent. He must've changed his accent. His message stated something along the lines of, "I need you to call me. This is Mike Wilson/Davis (I can't remember which one he stated) from the IRS and you have a lawsuit filed against you. You need to call me immediately or we will take legal action against you". What threw me off was he said "You" instead of my name, which told me he didn't have my information in front of him. He completely freaked out my children when they heard his message and they called me immediately. They played me the message over the phone. Again, my guy has a middle eastern accent and does not say your name. I have not received any mail from the IRS stating I owe money and I have used the same tax preparer for over 15 yrs and she is excellent at her job. I don't have a complex filing either, so that gave me the red flag about the call as well. After doing a search of the number, it appears this person is calling from a land line in Anderson, SC. Hope someone catches him soon.
