I get called very day on my cell phone (which is not a published number) and my home phone which is in on the do not call list with no messages left. I want them to stop calling.
Called today from 864-990-1877. Caller ID said "Cancer Fund". Called the number back and recording says number is not in service. They also call from 800-390-4812, 843-410-5425, and 864-990-1873. Have never donated to them in the past, will not donate to them in the future, and have never answered their call. When will they give up?
I see a lot of people are complaining about being on the Do Not Call list and still receiving calls. They are not subject to the laws of the DNC registry because they are a nonprofit fundraising group. They can call all they want, even though I wish they wouldn't. I will not donate to them. There are a few charities I support that are very highly rated and reputable. I do not know about this one nor do I care. I cannot imagine it is worthwhile to solicit donations this way anymore.
