I just posted my findings on this matter.
Times are hard enough right now without these scams going on. As times get harder we will see....er...hear more and more of the junk.Take care.
This number has been calling me almost daily. I never answer it. They don't leave messages. My husband didn't know and he answered my phone on 2/19 about 8p.m. Said it was a debt collector. It's a "junk mail" call. Same kind I'm getting from some Sprint number often too.
I got a call from this caller too. They were looking for someone with my last name (They left a message where my last name matched but the first name was not mine ). They said it's a personal matter they need to discuss. Seems like a collection agency trying to reach someone using public records and calling everyone with this last name.
I get calls on my cell daily from this number but again, no message left. I did answer the phone twice and was disconnected the moment I answered it. I hope it is Sprint calling! At least they aren't using my minutes if so.
I've been receiving calls from this number for 3 days straight now. 20 calls in all (13 today alone!), on my cell phone. I refuse to answer it to avoid my minutes being used up. They have not left a message. It's starting to feel harrassed! If they'd just leave a message, then I could respond accordingly.
