Actually, if people stopped falling for the scams, the calls might reduce in number, until the scammers find newer scams to try, but it is the suckers that keep these people in business. So if people educated themselves and stopped buying "Viagra" from Canada or giving out their social security number and bank account information over the phone because "they won the lotto", we would ALL be better off because the scammers wouldn't be able to scam anyone. Yet, we all know the phrase, there is a sucker born every minute.
This number called today and I picked up and said "hello" twice, but they hung up. No message. When I called the number back, found out the number was disconnected. Will not answer calls from numbers I don't know and will not call the number(s) back either. I hope the authorities catch these creeps and put them in prison for the rest of their lives.
