I have gotten four calls from them in a total of 3 hours so far. I have not answered it once, but when they leave a message they say things just like another number that has been calling me (409-356-6521). "God save you as the events unfold on you" "I'll be praying for you" "your really going to need some help when we get done with you" things like that. I tried calling the number back and you can't, its a non existing number according to verizon. ITS A SCAM! they may have your name, SSN, address or know where you bank. dont let them have everything! its scary when someone has your social, but dont let that phase you and trick you into giving them your address. No there are no law suits against you. IF you did apply for a loan (i did) the LOAN COMPANY will contact you if your behind on payments. IF you want to be sure this is a scam, ask the guy for a case number, what court this was filed in, and the attorney's name and phone number. He HAS to give you this information because it is PUBLIC RECORDS! if he does give you an attorney name or phone number, do a confrence call. trick him. tell him you will give him your information and sneak the call onto him. do anything to get the a hole on the line until you are convienced its a scam. I am personally going to answer my phone as an EMS service just to see what happens next time they call
i get a phone call from 878-182-7448 starting at 8 am and all day long about every hour. when i answer no one answers. i have called back and get a recording saying the number has been changed or disconnected. i've had enough. i am reporting this to athorities. also i sent a text msg ans was sent this mrssage "this is a landline reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice message for .25/msg + std msg fee. They call everyday and usually hang up. Today I waited for someone to answer, after 3 minutes someone finally did. They said we applied for a loan, I told him we were not interested and he told me they will keep calling me. I asked him to stop and he said NO...if they call again i'm going to file harrassment charges.
Frequent calls 7-10 times a day. Doesn't appear that anyone is on the other end. Comes up on id as Pennsylvania. Called back and left message not to call us anymore and we were on GOV DO NOT CALL LIST (which is a joke because I still receive tons on calls - but not as many as before). They called again and I answered and it was silence... a lot of clicking... call disconnected. I believe international scamming may be involved with the delay and clicking that is present. I also believe we can expect more and more of this with so much of telecommunications going overseas. American companies hurting America and destroying American families - but that is another topic.
Isn't it amazing how many sick minded people that are among us? They can't perform a honest days work. They choose to hide behind technology and prey on those who work to provide while they steal and hide... simply pitiful.
