received the call returned the call from another number (land line) and they did not answer. Called from the phone that they called me on and the call was answered. said they are with the IRS and am speaking with an officer. I cut the "officer" short by replying that I believe that it was a scam and he told me that I believed so the hang up the call. Which I did. If it was in fact that IRS I think that would have known my name and would have contacted me in a more formal way. IGNORE the call and block the number.
