This indian person calls and reports he from microsoft and someone is trying to access my computer. He was extremely rude and wanted me to pay him to fix the problem. I immediately hung up. Will report to microsoft since they are using their name. Be weary and reful when dealing with these crooks . Phone number 878-286-0398
i received a call from this number today. A man with a distinct indian sounding voice - which i could only half understand - informed me he was calling from Microsoft. I asked where he got my cell number and he said that when i purchased my PC and registered it i gave Microsoft that information, which is not true. He then told me that hackers have been using my internet to do terrible things and he wanted me to sit in front of my computer and log in so that he could show me all of the attempts that had been made using my internet account. I told him i was in the car driving and he wanted to know what time he could call me back. I told him to give me a number to call him back and he said 302-482- and i forgot the rest. he gave me his name but it sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles when he said it.
I just had this number contact me. They kept telling me I run a Microsoft platform, which I do not (Apple), had an Indian accent, and clearly had no idea what she was talking about. Total scam.
Got a call from this number. Caller ID said "Pennsylvania". No one said anything but it sounded like a bunch of people in the background on phones. I just hung up.
