Q: How long does my phone number stay registered?
A: Telephone numbers on the Registry don’t expire. We only remove your number when it’s disconnected and reassigned, unless you ask us to remove it.
Yeah I just had that today. I hit 0 to speak with their rep/operator and as I asked in a nice voice to please be removed from their calling list and she disconnected before I could even finished...didnt even say a word.
Just got a call from this number from Rochester, PA. Sounded like a robo call. Asked me if I wanted to renew my warranty on my auto. I said no. Instantly they hung up. Heard about... Can you hear me? If you answer yes then they got you. Learned this from AARP and in the news. Being very cautious about answering yes.
I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. Today has been a record day for spam calls for me. 12 so far and it's only 6pm. These calls usually start within a day after visiting my doctor's office and/or when they send in a prescription for me. It's been like this for almost 5 years now. After a couple of days they will stop until the next time I see my doctor or pick up my prescriptions. I thought it was someone hacking Walmart Pharmacy's info and I asked them about that, but now I'm wondering if they are hacking medicare/Humana. I wonder if anyone else has noticed a connection like this?
