Same as everyone else. Several calls a day, all hangups except one when they asked for me by name, then hung up. Dead air when I try to call back. If anyone finds out what kids charity they supposedly work for, please post so I can contact them and tell them to stop calling.
These people have called me no less then 40 times in the last 2 months. They try all different times of day and on weekends. It has become a challenge for my kids, husband and I to get to the phone asap to "get" to talk to them becasue normally when we get to it there is none there. I Finally this morning I got it in time. I told her I was very upset and that many are upset online too about their calls. She was very kind and apologized and sent me to her supervisor so my name could be removed from their call list. He was very nice and said he understood that I was very frustrated with them. He explained who they are which is... www.kidswishnetwork.org . He said they are calling to get donations for dieing children. I said I appreciate what they do but that I wanted off the calling list. He said he would do that but wanted to thoroughly apologize and explain to me why it is when i pick up most of his calls no one is there. It is an automated system. Computer dials several numbers at once and whoever answers first gets the call. I told him he needs to work on getting a better system because it is harrassment to our family and others. We are busy people especially during this season. We have family that are sick, expecting babies, etc and we are listening for those phone calls...not for them. Anyhow maybe if you are getting getting harrassed by this number try to hurry and answer the call so you can be removed or go to that website above and see if you can have your number removed that way? If they dont come in contact with you, they will continue to try and call you until they do. It will drive you nuts if you dont take care of it. He said I will not be hearing back from them again.
