They have other numbers they call from. Each time I get one, I put it on my blocked calls through Verizon. The block will work but in about a weeks time they will call from another number. I do not answer the call. I still have no idea where they got my private cell number from.
This number has called my house and my cell phone (both unlisted and only given out to friends/family). Hear automated message first, then press 1 to speak with a person. When I got a live person, my first question was, "Ma'am, can you tell me what company you work for?" She hung up after I asked twice. SCAM!!
Just received another call on my cell from these folks. This is getting really annoying now. I haven't been able to get a call through to them to find out who they are and get them to stop.
I was aware of this scam because they've been calling my parents for weeks, but this was the first time I'd heard from them. I actually answered the phone and got the automated message. I followed the prompt and pressed 1 to speak to a representative. The guy asked me for my credit card number, so that he could lower my interest rates. I told him I didn't have a credit card, and he hung up on me. They've cursed at my mother when she questioned why they needed her account number. She saw that the phone number was from Boseman, Montana and relayed this to the person on the other line. That person said "Honey, do you really F***ing think I'm in Boseman, Montana?" Then she told my 68-year-old mother to go f*** herself and hung up. THIS IS A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER!!!!
