Same issue and voicemail left today. I will not be returning the call. We have a new phone number - I suspect we are receiving a lot of these calls and collection agency calls for that reason.
ya i keep getting these calls too... never gives any info of who they are looking for and says exactly what people above wrote... where do these guys come from? and what is the point? annoyed ...
I received a call from same scammers from this number, 901-407-2027, at approximately 8:45 CST. It was an "ominous" recorded message stating they to needed to speak to someone about an "important legal matter" and to press 1, which I did.
I then was transferred to someone who wanted my phone number, and then asked for my wife, saying they needed to speak to her about a warrant, insinuating she needed to pay off some debt or she would go to jail.
When I reminded them that no one can be put in jail over a civil debt issue, they said something to the effect that I should be expecting my wife to be arrested shortly.
I have called them back several times, was given false contact information, they have tried to say they haven;t made any calls and someone was spoofing their number, I've even had women tell me there are no men who work their.
The best one was when some guy calling himself Kevin stated he knew where I lived, and that bullets would go right through my wood frame house, he was going to have someone come to my door and "shut me down", he then referenced a vehicle I haven't owned in years, stated they knew my wifes number but couldn't tell me what it was, said they would contact her employer (she's self employed) etc.
My suggestion is for people to do this:
Get a google voice number, and then when you get a call from criminal punks like this, use the google voice number to call them back all day long. I can be very entertaining.
They claimed the name of their company is Litigation LLC. located at 4646 Jefferson Court in memphis TN.

received a call from the same number saying they had a litigation case against me for "Malice to intent fraud" from a lending institution whom I've never borrowed money from. This is a scam. my best advice to anyone is don't ever apply for any on line loan. there are many scams that simply use your identity information to try and embezzle money from you. This company is a scam, they are out to steal whatever they can from you in any means possible. They need to be reported to FInCen, FBI, and Internet Crimes
