Just do not answer. It's hard but never answer, don't call back, don't press 1. Ignore them
Takes a little while but eventually they give up. I get maybe 1 or 2 a week now.
Once you answer the phone or call them back they know they have a working number and they will sell it to other telemarketers.
So. Bottom line. Don't answer, don't try to talk to them....do not call does not work, too many to keep up with
Plus they are scammers and crooks, so they don't care .

Yesterday received call from a woman saying that 'they would be in my area and would like to interest me in a home security system.' Also said they were upgrading telephones to wireless and would give me a free phone. I told her I wasn't interested & hung up.
Today, I received a call from a man & he started out with 'we're going to be in your area. . . (that's where I hung up)
No, Terry, these idiots do not check the Do Not Call List. Only LEGITIMATE businesses check that list. This is one of the reasons we know these callers are scammers. I also received a call, and no message was left. Will block them, along with all the other idiots!!! I cannot imagine anyone even listening to these morons!
