Just do not answer. It's hard but never answer, don't call back, don't press 1. Ignore them
Takes a little while but eventually they give up. I get maybe 1 or 2 a week now.
Once you answer the phone or call them back they know they have a working number and they will sell it to other telemarketers.
So. Bottom line. Don't answer, don't try to talk to them....do not call does not work, too many to keep up with
Plus they are scammers and crooks, so they don't care .

Received a call at 11:21 today. I spoke with a real person who said they were "going to be in your area" and are a home security company. I told her that she was in violation of a federal law because I was on the "do not call" list. She said she would remove my number from further calls. I told her that she should have checked before calling and that I intended to report her. She hung up very quickly. I called the number and found that "the number you have dialed is not in service at this time." With our advanced technical knowledge, why can't we stop these annoying calls? Why can't our elected officials take action? Why?
