Get a call from this number almost every evening. I do not answer, as they never leave a message, which tells me they want money. So many out there with their hand out they are tripping over each other.
CID JR Police Academy. Must have been reported as a scam since my free automated call blocking service blocked it. Saw online that this and many other scam police and fire charities in California were sued for deceptive practices several years ago. Guess it hasn't stopped them.

SCAM
Long time ago when I had dialup and no means to check the number I answered the phone. Support Law Enforcement - OK. It wasn't until later when I got caller ID I could back trace these telemarketers. It's all BS.
Since I was distracted and he called me by name I listened until he said who he represented. Complete BS. Doesn't matter with today's thiefs they will spoof a legit business telephone number and call you. Or RoboCall using an Unknown number. So long as I know what's going on they won't get a dime... except my time.
