I got a phone call from these people claiming that I took out a payday loan and never paid it back. Telling me someone must have got a hold of my ID. When I asked him to fax me the papers he got a mad and hung up. I called back he told me they were a secret dept with the FBI. The guys name that he used was Michael Flowers. I kept calling back and he started to swear at me when I told him I was going to the police. I called Verizon and they said it is probably a prepaid phone. When my ID was stolen before and money was taken out of my account it was for prepaid phone cards. This man had my information the probably is I changed my accounts and they can't access it anymore so he is trying to get more information. If anything or anyone no matter what calls you like this tell them you are going to the police and go. I am trying to still get my money back.
this is a scam i contacted my local police dept in massachusetts.do not give any of your information to these jokers this is a crock.be very careful andi would suggest contacting your local police dept as well
if they call you again tell them to kiss you hind area i did and it poed the guy off. this stinks to high hell he also told me they were going to sue me for some payday loan also i have received 2 calls from different phone numbers from the same guy one asian guy claiming to be alex stevens and his supervisor named john obrian who sounded like he was indian well i dont know about you guys but i dont know any irish indians. just for the record i did a reverse phone lookup on both numbers and they belong to cell phones one is a cell phone a verizon phone listed in jacksonville fl. and the other a cingular llc phone listed in the bronx new york. and i want to let you guys know i called them with a police detective sitting in my living room.and i asked them what i needed to do to clear up the debt. and they guy fought with me on the phone and said you know what you need to do. now think about it they claim to be a collection agency? running a bussiness from cell phones? and wouldnt you just be able to pay them if they had purchased your debt? dont give them any of your information they are trying to smoke you.

I received a call from a man who called himself "Mark Williams" sounded like he was from India from 904-239-3959 and he stated I needed to call him ASAP or I would be arrested today. I had received calls from these people in the past and kept forwarding them to the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office. He said I had a loan that needed to be paid. I am on to these guys and won't give them any information. I am going to report them again to the crime division so they can't scam anyone. The person is very rude and gets angry when I ask him to fax me paperwork.
