The called & left the same voice mail about a parcel that the others described. Total scam! If you answer their call, maybe you should say something like "State attorney's office, how can I help you?" and watch how fast the little rats run!
Received call from this number saying, once again, I owe a debt after they said yesterday they would mark it as a refusal and hung up on me. Apparently, there was a hack in a cash advance company years ago and now scammers are buying people's information. They will threaten and call your job. They attempt to blackmail you into paying a false debt. Please, do not give these people a PENNY. If the call you business, make the person aware that your information was stolen and you are being harassed. If you had a bill with legal action, you would receive legal papers to first sign. If you sign those and fail to pay, they would then file for garnishing your wages in your local court, especially not one in a different date. Also, you would have a sheriff delivering the information in person, not someone requesting money over the phone. There are specific steps and a sheriff would be involved if there were actual legal preceedings.
Same as above comments... This is a "debt collector" threatening legal action if you fail to resolve a payday cash advance that was supposedly defaulted on. I just wanted to clarify I heard the callers name clearly and it is Abby Ryan. I told her that I have never defaulted on a loan and she stated they must have "purchased" outdated information, so she will re - verify. I didn't bother arguing with her any further and simply hung-up.
I received the same call as above. Abby Ryan is the name the female used. I did call the number back, and was automatically sent to voice mail, I did not leave a message. I hope she, whatever her name is, calls me back - I'm always willing to mess with these people.
