Claims She is Attorney Ava Steinmore with Legal Mediation Practice and is the attorney handling my case. Said she has a returned Check and if she doesnt hear from me today she will forward to my State Florida for prosecution... very Interesting seeing as I have been with the same bank for a very long time and have never written a check... Also Legal Medation Services is no longer in Business and No Ava Steinmore listed as being with the Florida Bar Association. Also very strange the DA Office is the one who decides whom to prosecute not some debt collector... Watch out sounds liek a scam.......
I received a call from the same 904-410-8488 stating the same thing about a year ago. I disregarded all the calls until one day a letter showed up from the State Attorneys Office. Before I knew it, I had six months probation and a huge headache. Just sharing the info. Sometimes what these guys say is true...
