Got text message about my Craigslist ad posted in Washington State...better ignor these folks!

This person is trying to steal my identity from an ad on craigslist.  Arrest him please.

i just got a text from this number what do i do

I got a message from this number too ask me to send my info to write me a check.

In response to a Craigslist ad, we just got a text from this number wanting our information to send a check to.

There must be a scam here, but I am not sure how it works.
