First, this guy called me about 6 in the evening on the number I posted in my Craigslist ad. Strong hispanic accent, very difficult to understand, very broken English. Then he texted me at 2am the next morning, a string of three text messages: "(1/3)I'm satisfied with the condition of the item for instant purchase, am a very busy man i am sure you understand. I will also like you to" then "(2/3)know that i will be paying via company certified check, and it will be sent via courier service due to the distance .I will take care of" then " (3/3)the items shipment myself, text me the requirement to issue check out for you. 1. Full Name on the check 2. Address (no P.O Box) 3. City" Funny punctuation is the way it was received at my phone. Each of the 3 text messages was followed by "4:06AM Fri, Aug 24 From: +19044388786"
Received exactly the ssame set of 3 texts responding to an ad on Craig's list. The fact that he is not negotiating told me it's a scam. This forum confirmed it as well.
