Got a call saying they had a returned "parcel" due to a bad address and that a legal matter was attached to my social. Didn't intentify company until I asked. Said something credit solutions.
Received call from Marie that I owe a payday loan for $850.00 and should could settle the balance for $250.00 or they would have to garnish wages and taxes until the balance is paid in full. did not agree with any offers so she hung up on me. I know she was a scam could not give me the name of the company or the location.
Got two missed calls from this number. I called back. Same scam about a certified letter regarding a legal matter being returned. Wanted my address. Didn't give it to her. Said they were collecting on a pay day loan. Told her I'd never taken out a pay day loan in my life. Said she would refer my file to their investigation dept. and wished me good luck. Pretty polite but I knew it was a scam. Blocked the number from calling me again.
They claim they are Legal Debt Management out of Jacksonville, Florida. Claiming to deliver a parcel to me, I press one then when I said remove my number she says to me "oh so this is a flat out refusal and our process server will be there within a few days". I call back got another female who answers "hello". If you are a real company you answer with the name not just "hello" like your answering your house phone. I 100% believe this is a scam, they have called from numerous 904 numbers and you google the company, you cannot find it anywhere.
