Every day at the same time...a call to let me know legal proceedings are prepared against me...I hate these calls which interrupts my work day and if anyone wants to call them back call 904 647 2608. They don't even have my name right.
I got a call from the 904-479-9432 on Monday and they left a message that said I needed to call and that if I didn't they would proceed with the lawsuit against me. I've had similar before so was suspicious and called them and got a Mr. John Davis. He had my social, my physical address (not my mailing as I don't get mail at my home), and had my phone number of course. He said I had a MyCash Now loan from 2012 that I didn't pay. While I did have pay day loans around that time I paid everyone. I refused to do anything like that again after those were paid. I paid there settlement of $150 from the 990 I owed and they were supposed to send me the settlement letter to sign and everything by email and never got it. Today my Mom gets one of their calls from me which would get me in major trouble with my parents and I called them again. They didn't take more money but sent me the settlement letter my email like they said to e-sign. I came on here and looked at comments and I went to their Mediation Processing Services website and everything seems legit. I still am not sure and I told my Mom I was going to call the FTC tomorrow and told her it was a scam. I've had a scammer in the past that was this smooth. I talked to a payment person today and she pulled up everything and sent the paperwork. There would lots of people's voices in the background on Monday too which made me suspicious. Not sure what to believe.
This was similiar to mine except today the called my Mom with this. They said I owed 990 and could settle for 150 when I talked to them Monday and stupidly paid them and they were supposed to send me the settlement letter to e-sign. I called after I got home because my Mom called me at work after the call today and they didn't take any more Monday but sent me the settlement letter. I know I paid any of the paid loans I had in 2012 after my parents found out about them and paid the last one. I just don't know what to think. They have seemed so legit and when to Mediation Processing Services website. Don't know what to think.
