Called 3 times in a row, from Florida. I am in Georgia. No, I did not request any renovation work from anything online. Even if I had, why would I want a contractor from Florida? The woman calling was barely understandable. I have been on Home Advisor site, and I have also been on craigslist, but did not leave any phone number. Somehow this call HAD to come from me going on one of those sites. So, beware of both.
I received a call from this number and I know exactly what it is from. I filled out a survey for work I need done on my home.
This site reaches out to local contractors who then contact you. I did receive local calls and did get bids from local contractors. But, now I'm getting calls from 904-701-2736. After reading the other post I know it is related to the info I input on the internet for local companies to contact me. I'm in California why is Florida calling me. I think the site is good but scammers are scamming the site I used..
I was not familiar with the number but after reading these remarks I now know. I was online earlier and went to www.hgtv.com. I was looking up some information concerning some renovations I'm considering doing. I filled out a form thinking that I would receive the information then and there. Unfortunately, it set me up to receive phone calls. This annoyance is of my own doing so now I must contend with the consequences. Oh, boy! Now I've really done it!!
