Asked for Kevin. Told wrong number. Launched into script that he was calling for VA for organ donations. Asked to put on Do Not Call. Told me it would take 5 days and asked if that was okay. I said yes. Hope the word "yes" was not recorded as part of a scam. Tried to call back and recording says unable to complete my call. Scam.
Caller ID came up "Unavailable". No message. Blocked caller #768 (two Panasonics + 20 ATT IDs), idiot call #1642 (not including apparent mis-dials and obvious political calls) since 5/2/13. Caller ID "1" (100-000-0000) has called 70 times, including 12 in one day, 6 on another. I also had to block my own scammed number as four times the caller ID indicated that I received a call from IT!
I have received scam IRS calls from four different numbers threatening prosecution.
All of these numbers have been kept on a spreadsheet with dates and number of calls. Since both blocking systems are now full, I have been recycling the older dated numbers that only called once or twice.
Called and asked for "Johnny" I told him he had the wrong number, and he proceeded to say "maybe you can help me" and started yapping about donating to some police officer fund. Told him no and hung up.
called my unpublished cell number on do not call list. Solicited donation to POLICE FUND. I hung up. Who knows who this guy is? If I want to donate I'll go to my vacation rental police dept and donate. I told them I live in Florida! I live in California! lol
