Wife got call, left no message. We called the number back, recording thanked us for calling CBCS" and stated there were no agents available to talk to us, to call back or leave a message with our name and account number, summary of the message we left: "We rcvd a call from this number on our cellphone, checked out who it was from on the web, identified it as a collection agency. our name is not needed at this point, if you have a valid debt against us, you already have our name and address, send a hard copy of your claim to us, do not call this number again, or it will be considered harrassment and we will forward it to our attorney for action, and included the number they called." we did our return call on a sunday, we will see....
It's a debt collector. They call me all the time looking for someone else (I guess someone who used to have my phone number). I tell them every time that I don't know that person and they keep calling me. Super annoying.
I called the number & its a financial institution collection agency. Seems I have some outstanding student loans. Still cant pay, cause im in school. Leaving a vm would have helped.
