Wife got call, left no message. We called the number back, recording thanked us for calling CBCS" and stated there were no agents available to talk to us, to call back or leave a message with our name and account number, summary of the message we left: "We rcvd a call from this number on our cellphone, checked out who it was from on the web, identified it as a collection agency. our name is not needed at this point, if you have a valid debt against us, you already have our name and address, send a hard copy of your claim to us, do not call this number again, or it will be considered harrassment and we will forward it to our attorney for action, and included the number they called." we did our return call on a sunday, we will see....
This number calls me at least once a day, sometimes twice, but I never answer. Whenever I check my messages, an automated voice says my name twice in a row and then starts spouting off a long list of random numbers. If it was about something really important, I'm sure I would have realized by now. SO tired of this crap.
Periodically calls asking for a person who (we know) but does not live here and is not related.
They have asked for alternative phone numbers and addresses for our friend but I feel that it is not my responsibility whatsoever to help them in their attempt to collect this debt.
I will never provide any information to them because I am neither an informant nor an employee of this company.
If anyone from the company is reading this, the next time you call and I inform you that this is "not the person's home" you will know you are wasting your time. If you continue to request information, I will now provide you made-up phone numbers and addresses and nothing you receive from me will be true!
The numbers and addresses will be taken from other collection or scammer data listed on this site so no private citizen will be bothered.
This number keeps calling leaving a message asking if this is Leven Bellamy. I don't know anyone by that name. I never answer whien I look at the caller ID.
Same as others: a horribly-pronounced text-to-speech attempt at my ex-wife's name, followed by a seemingly random string of spoken digits. Even if they would insert a phrase like "please call" that would keep them from being such idiots. I don't know how they could possibly expect any return calls from this crap.
