They called m place of work and this as my first day on he job, saing I owed them money, from several yrs. ago. Wated my depit card 3. Didn't give it They got mad and said the police would be after me.
this company just called my home about a debt my best friend owes. they were looking for my friend's boss, so i took down the information for her. they claimed they were calling about legal charges being filed. how and why would they have called my number? it seemed really shady to me, i looked up the company and all i can find is complaint site after complaint site. if they call again i'm going to tear them a new one!
My Mother was contacted from an agent who identified herself using only a name and no affiliation, saying that she had a warrant for my arrest for writing fraudulent checks and to have me contact her before 6pm. I followed up immediately thinking that this was possibly a case of identity theft. After speaking with her I found that this matter was concerning a check I had written to secure a cash advance loan several years ago, a loan that has been discharged through bankruptcy court. I take full responsibility for making bad choices, however, I have legally resolved this issue. In and attempt to resolve this issue with United Processing and end the harassment, and on the advice of my bankruptcy attorney, I called to obtain an address to send a written notice of the discharge of debt. Jason James continued to harass me, tell me I needed to pay my bills and that he would be taking my case before an attorney (I think that was the threat but can't be sure because he mumbled this all in a rant before hanging up on me). Who do these [***], minimum wage working sons of !@#$%^$ think they are to judge, lecture, harass and intimidate? Obviously they have made a few bad choices themselves or they might be doing something a little more respectable. Not to mention that their tactics are in violation of the Federal Trade Commission, and they have absolutely no authority to have anyone sent to jail.
Kimberly Jones, if that is her real name, called me from there looking for my boyfriend's ex-sister-in-law and her dead mother. She claimed to be sending a sheriff out to the girl's house today and said she needed my boyfriend or the girl to call her. She revealed all the girl's personal business and said that she would be bought up on felony charges and had been on probation. She kept asking me all kind of questions and badgering me for information.
I finally got tired and told her even if I did know anything I would not tell her because I do not know who she is! That [***] had the nerve to get loud and rude with me after I asked her how she got my phone number and then she hang up on me . It was a terribly harassing phone call and most of the questions are a trick! They treat you like [***] when you are not even the person they are looking for and then have the nerve to hang up on you.
I received a call on my answering machine yesterday 7/18/08, from the above # X207 the caller identified his name as Travis Taylor. He was looking for Donovan Dale Marshall, who had an outstanding check with the State. A person of whom I have never heard about. I called the number 7/19 to find out what the call was about. Mainly because I wanted to know how my name became affiliated with this person. Travis was rude and hung up on me. I called back and said, Sir, I would like to know how my name and number became associated with this Donavan Dale Marshall. Again he hung up on me.
