Another "Final Notice" to get lower credit card rates. I pressed "1" to talk with someone and asked to be removed from the calling list. They immediately hung up on me. I have reported them on the "Do Not Call Registry" (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 ) and would encourage you to do the same.
This is the third unsolicited call I received, in spite of being on the "do not call list". The call came in while I was on another call, I did not interrupt my call.
Just got the call myself - asking if I wanted to lower my interest rates. Robot call, I hung up before the 'pitch' was fully delivered. On my cell phone and I don't give that number out to anyone. Also, on "Do Not Call Registery"
I have been getting these just recently, on my cell number. I have not given my cell number to any business or credit card company - so the threads about this coming from Citi or Sears I think is BS. I think it's either they try random numbers, or they hacked cell providers for numbers.
I have received several calls from this number. When I ask them how they got my number they immediately hang up. I have my number listed with the do not call registry. I have asked them not to call back and they respond by hanging up. I feel as though I am being harrassed by these calls and would like to know if there is any legal recourse available to me to end these calls.
